Preparation and Expectations

Your flight instructor will not "sign you off" for your practical test if he or she does not believe that you are ready. The fact that you are here now gathering information and planning for your practical test means that you have shown your flight instructor that you have the necessary skills, you've studied long and hard and have passed the FAA written test, and are now ready to demonstrate your abilities to an FAA certifying official who was once in your very shoes.

It is a small and privileged few who have attained the ranks of a pilot. You are only one more step away from joining the elite group of certificated airmen.
